Spend the night in this historical guesthouse from 1895 furnished in 1950ies style. Your local host who lives on Mykines all year round will make you delicious breakfast with homebaked bread. Explore the quiet evening on the island, away from the crowds and see puffins in sunset.
The guesthouse only has 2 rooms, so you will never be more than 5 people with your local host and guide Oda W. Andreasen in the guesthouse. The host offers tea/coffee and home baked cake in the evening and you can buy 2 course dinner. You can book your for guided evening and sunset tours, 3-4 hours guided daytour or a 5 hours hike to the mountaintop Knúkur with view over the 3 beautiful valleys Korkadalur, Kálvadalur and Borgardalur and gorge Tvillingsgjógv.

Highlights of the tour are
Boat Trip
You sail from the harbour in Sørvágur at 16.20 with the boat Jósup and arrive in Mykines at 17.00. On the boat trip, you see the scenic Tindhólmur and Drangarnar up close and the sail alongside the westside of Mykines Island is just stunning.
1895 Guesthouse
You will be accommodated in on of the oldest houses on Mykines Islands called “Á Lonini” dated 1895. This was the first guesthouse on Mykines Island. You sleep under the ceiling and when you open the roof window, you see the grassroof. The house was totally renovated winther 2018/19 in old style, but the matrasses are brand new, you need to sleep well.
Homemade food
For breakfast we will have homebaked bons and delicious faroese lam sausage, eggs, fruits and jam.
